Outstanding success of Mespack at INTERPACK 2011

Interpack 2011 closes as one of the most successful events in the 53-year history of the world’s most important trade fair for the packaging sector and related processing industries.

This was the unanimous sentiment among the 2,700 exhibitors from 60 nations in all of the 19 fully booked halls of the Düsseldorf trade fair centre from 12 to 18 May 2011.

As usual Mespack had a booth of aprox. 650 square metres  where we  presented  our latest developments in horizontal form fill seal machines and also our new stickpack machines.

The trade fair was a complete success for Mespack. More than 1.500 visitors have been welcomed at our booth, where they could see our latest developped models and our new machine applications.

The newest machines displayed, were the HCM-320 FED and the MS-1200 which were totally new in the market.

HCM-320

A patented combination of intermittent and continuous motion HFFS machine is capable of producing 140 stand-up pouches per minute of 1 litre, this is 60% more production if compared with a conventional HFFS machine. This model is suitable for all types of products, solid, powders and liquids. Other remarkable features of this machine is the ability to make a complete change over in less than 15 minutes and the Butler built in autosplicer system.

MS-1200

With a reel width of 1200 MM can work with six lanes of 90 MM width each to produce 300 stickpacks or pillow bags per minute. This new application  (patent pending) can do the production of 2 or 3 conventional VFFS machines with less space, investment and manpower. This model was displayed with a new 32 head weigher from the company Yamato, being oriented for candies, snacks, confectionary, sweets, dry fruits, etc. It can be also supplied with conventional augers, cup fillers or flowmeters.

The rest of the machines exhibited were a quadruplex machine with top cap applicator at 240 pouches per minute, a 12 lane stickpack machine with fully automatized cartoning machine, with a capacity of 600 ppm, H-130 Duplex for small flat sachets at 180 ppm, H-170 Duplex with two components in the same flat sachet at 160 ppm, H-180 FE with edge cap for multiple applications  and the H-420 FED for big volumes until 10 litres.
