H-140 machine from Mespack: can produce up to 100 medium size sachets a minute. It is ideal for soup.
Barcelona, 28 september 2018.- Flexible packaging is on the up in Russia, especially for manufacturers of food and homecare products. They are using this type of packaging more and more and are now choosing to use flat sachets in stick pack format for single-use products and stand-up pouches for detergent. Faced with this opportunity, Mespack, the flexible packaging experts, will once again be at Agroprodmash – the most important event in Russia for the food-processing industry – with one clear aim: to consolidate and grow its market penetration in the region (it has 65 machines in operation there).
So from 8th-12th October, the Duravant Group company will be welcoming its customers to Stand 1F01 Pavilion 1/Gallery of Moscow’s Expocentre Fairgrounds where it will be particularly promoting its Series H machines: H130, H140 and H180.
“Nearly 50% of our Russian customers are medium-sized manufacturers, for whom the versatility of our machines and their ease of operation are very important. Our H130, H140 and H180 machines stand out in that respect, since they offer the flexibility to produce packages in different sizes and formats with minor adjustments,” explains Santi Alberich, the company’s Marketing Director.
The H130 is a medium size, high speed flat sachet machine which can produce up to 200 sachets a minute and is ideal for high volume products or products that need to be packaged with another product in perforated or string double sachets. It can be used to package sachets of coffee with milk or sugar, and salt or ketchup with mayonnaise, for example.
H140, on the other hand, is a compact machine designed to produce up to 100 medium sachets a minute and can place up to three different products in the same sachet. It is ideal for soup.
Finally, H180 is for doypack or stand-up pouches up to 1500 cc with top or corner lid. It is for frozen food, ready meals, sauces and condiments, powders and liquids, drinks, dried fruit, snacks, puddings, dry mixtures and more.

Pioneers in the use of augmented reality
Always at the forefront of innovation, as a first for the industry, at this year’s Agroprodmash Mespack will be using augmented reality headsets to show two of its fastest machines. Alberich explains: “We’ve made our own application which gives a 360° stereoscopic experience of these machines so that, with the headsets on, our customers will feel as if they are at our headquarters without actually having left the stand. They will be able to see the machines in operation as if they were there.”
The machines that will be shown using the headsets are the H540 FE6, for the production of baby food, which has a throughput of 300-360 sachets a minute with top anti-choke spout and the HCM 420 FET, Mespack’s solution for the continuous packaging of high volume production of large pouches.
