  • Mespack strengthens its ties with the British market at The PPMA SHOW 2018(current)
The Duravant Group company returned from the UK event with more than 30 leads which are very interesting for its continued growth in this market.
Mespack also successfully presented its new sales tool at The PPMA SHOW: augmented reality goggles that allow two of the largest pieces of equipment in its portfolio to be viewed in 360º stereoscopic vision.

Barcelona, 28 september 2018.- Demanding and dynamic: this is what the packaging industry in the United Kingdom is all about. It is a market in which manufacturers expect their equipment to have the very best features to cover their production needs. As an expert in this area, the company specialising in the design and manufacture of flexible packaging machinery, Mespack, from 25 to 27 September attended The PPMA Show (25-27 September, Birmingham, England) to present the latest developments in its portfolio along with a twin aim in mind: to reinforce the links with its key accounts and to open new lines of collaboration. And it managed to achieve both those aims.

“Our participation in The PPMA Show was very positive”, said Santi Alberich, Marketing Director of Mespack, at the conclusion of the event. “We came back with around thirty very interesting contacts which will allow us to continue to grow in this market, along with our representative in the United Kingdom, Springvale Equipment. This event has allowed us to strengthen ties with our customers in what is a strategic region for us and to show them our latest innovations.”

A unique experience for visitors in the sector

More than the innovations in its machines, one thing that also stoked a lot of interest at The PPMA SHOW was Mespack’s new sales tool: augmented reality goggles with 360º stereoscopic vision which allowed the users to view two of the company’s largest pieces of equipment as if they were physically in the building. Alberich explained: “We have created an exclusive application for Mespack which is unique within the sector and which provides users with the sensation of seeing these two machines in operation, as if the users were right there in our factory, simply by using these goggles. This is an authentic revolution in terms of our presence at trade fairs, as it opens the door to offering visitors a truly unique experience with our machines,” he said.

The machines that visitors were able to see at The PPMA SHOW 2018 in augmented reality were the H-540-FE6, for the production of baby food, which has a throughput of 300-360 sachets a minute with top anti-choke spout and the HCM-420-FET, Mespack’s continuous packaging solution for the high-volume production of large format pouches.
