Mespack’s H-180 machine for producing medium-sized flat pouches and Doypack pouches (up to 1,500 cc) with different applications, such as a top or edge cap.
Barcelona, 12 december 2018.- Mespack’s participation at ALL4PACK Paris 2018 came to a close with one contract concluded on site and nearly 60 quality leads. The Duravant Group subsidiary was able to meet the objectives of its participation at the international packaging and logistics ecosystem exhibition held in the French capital from November 26 to 29, where the solutions it offered were well received. “This year we have exhibited our entire portfolio with a special emphasis on getting the word out about our machines that are best suited to the markets targeted by this fair (North Africa, Europe and the Middle East). And unlike what happens at other events, where client contacts tend to be brief due to the large number of attendees, this time we were able to hold extended meetings and explore a variety of projects, including some very advanced ones. The result? We generated 57 quality leads and were able to close the sale of a machine for the African market”, pointed out Santi Alberich, Mespack’s marketing director.
The Duravant Group subsidiary, after arriving at ALL4PACK Paris with two of the most versatile machines in its portfolio for stick pack and stand-up pouch manufacturing (an H-180-FE machine and an MS1200-4), was in fact able to close the sale of an SC model from the H-180 series. “This is a solution for filling ready-made flat or doypack-type envelopes of up to 1,500 cc, suitable for medium-volume production and ideal for the food and beverage industry. The machine can incorporate a top cap or can work with envelopes already provided with a corner cap and zipper, making it practically equivalent, in terms of functionality, to its sister machine, also exhibited at the fair, the H-180-FE, the sole difference being that the FE model forms the envelopes from the reel”, explained Alberich.
Regarding the MS1200-4 solution, this machine also aroused the interest of visitors to ALL4PACK Paris, because of its ability to “adapt perfectly to the production needs of the snack foods market”, emphasized Mespack’s Marketing Director.
The MS1200-4 allows high-speed production in single-dose packaging (such as nuts, snacks, sweets or powdered detergents, for example). “In addition, with a maximum reel width of 1200 mm, it makes it possible to work with up to 5 tracks, producing the widest available stick pack format: 115 mm”, added Mespack’s Marketing Director.

The Duravant Group subsidiary also took full advantage of its presence at the French exhibition to get the word out about his end-of-line solutions for rigid and flexible packaging. “Since August of 2017, Mespack has had a new line of secondary packaging units for all types of finished products: cans, bottles, capsules and solid products, among others. We also have a solution for products sold in flexible (wrap-around) packaging, and we can even palletize them”, emphasized Alberich.
Looking forward to the next edition of ALL4PACK Paris, Mespack’s Marketing Director has announced that the company will continue its participation in the fair, although its approach will change. “In 2020, ALL4PACK will be held at the same time as the world’s largest fair, Interpack, and so we will adapt our participation strategy based on the Parisian proposal”, he concluded.
